Great... tent site for 12 $ ... we only paid 10 $ beacause brian let us sleep at an extra tent site... great location... we saw the moon rise above the ocean...

The best place so far. Great location, nice view, friendly people, had a great time, nice little fire place, had a BBQ and count down with everyone for 2006!

Wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived but Brian's Place is an unexpected gem. A very nice place to stay after the mammoth drive around the East Cape. Saw my first sunrise on a perfect morning. Brian himself is a very interesting guy with lots of funny stories. Wish we stayed longer.

This place was an Oasis in a storm. For the backpacker like me it is excellent. The place is small and has lots of character and that includes the owner, who is a typical kiwi. Definitely worth a visit.

I loved it here even though I was all on my own for the 1 night!! Wish I had planned to stay longer. The host (Brian) came with loads of wood for the fire and I had a lovely evening with the cat Napolean sat in front of it. Beautiful views of the bay!!

Amazing place and super friendly host, excellent views and nice beds. very warm cosy fire on bad days, watch the sunrise from your bed. Clean. Great to have such an amazing hostel in remote places. stay more than one day!
